Update Notes 014 — The Classic PW 1.2.6

Update 014 brings a special Christmas Event happening only on 12/25, the launch of the Automatic Weekly Top Class, the new in-game betting feature for major disputes, and several additional fixes and improvements. Check the details below.

Christmas Events

  • A special Christmas Event will take place only on 12/25 at three times: 10:00 AM, 7:00 PM, and 11:00 PM.
  • The event is a multi-stage quest with several rewards, including The Classic Coins and Gold, plus a final reward for all players at the end of the event.
  • After each run of the event ends, an NPC will appear next to all teleporters. This NPC offers a special quest with a surprise reward for everyone. This quest can only be completed once per character (even though the event runs 3 times that day).
  • During the event, at a certain stage, players will be able to pick up presents that contain The Classic Coins and Gold — a great opportunity to have fun and stack up important resources.

How the Christmas Event Works

  • Stage 1: defeat 30,000 Snowmen.
  • Stage 2: collect 100 presents spread across the entire Pangu map.
  • Stage 3: defeat a powerful boss named Grinch, who came to ruin Christmas. Grinch starts in the City of the Lost and has a multi-phase mechanic:
    • At 50% HP, a mini-boss spawns. After that, Grinch disappears and reappears in the City of the Plume.
    • In the City of the Plume, at 50% HP, the mechanic happens again. Then he moves to the City of the Untamed.
    • In the City of the Untamed, players will be able to finish the boss and complete the stage.

Automatic Weekly Top Class

  • We’re bringing an exclusive feature to The Classic PW 1.2.6: the Automatic Weekly Top Class. A fully automated tournament with bracket generation and scheduled matches throughout the week.
  • Registration: every Monday, from 00:00 to 23:59. Players register at the Class Master NPC in their starting city (e.g., Humans register at the Warrior Master in the City of the Lost).
  • Entry fee: 100 The Classic Coins.
  • Limit: up to 8 players per class.
  • Bracket: on Tuesday at 00:00, we will publish the bracket along with the match schedule. The schedule will be displayed on the website together with the bracket.
  • Format: all matches (from the first round to the finals) are Bo3.
  • Players will receive notifications throughout the week about how many hours are left until their match. When the time comes, they will receive a mail invitation to a special arena.
  • The event runs in a controlled environment with a spectator area: players can join to watch the matches.
  • Rewards (champion only): an exclusive Top Class title for 7 days + 800 The Classic Coins + a special aura surrounding the player’s hands for 1 week. There are no participation rewards and the entry fee is not refunded if you lose.

  • Tuesday: 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30
  • Wednesday: 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 22:30
  • Thursday: 19:00, 19:30, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30
  • Friday: 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30
  • Saturday: 14:30, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:30, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30
  • Sunday: 14:30, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:30
  • We will test this format and soon we will share more information, including the rules and the links where the bracket and other details will be available.

In-game Betting

  • You can now place in-game bets on Territory War outcomes and also on results from Top Class, events and tournaments, using in-game coins.
  • The goal is to bring more interaction, more fun, and a more dynamic experience for everyone who follows the server’s biggest clashes.
  • Whenever there’s a major dispute, we’ll be able to open bets in real time.

Other Changes

  • Old Boys HP has been increased by 30%.
  • The Violence Removal item icon has been changed to prevent confusion and scams.
  • Some quests that couldn’t be completed have been fixed.
  • The Level 95 Oracle has been fixed.
  • Requested guild emblems have been added.
